Dia de los Muertos Shoebox Altar Contest!

Want to win a great prize all while showing off your creativity?? Then you have to take part in Melissa Guerra's Shoebox Altar Contest for Dia de los Muertos!

All you have to do is create a Day of the Dead altar inside of a standard size shoebox (no boot boxes!) and drop it off at the store for judging by 6pm Friday, October 24th.

The Shoebox Altars will be displayed in the store all day on October 25th and judging will take place at 6pm. Winners will be notified via phone. Prizes include:

  • 1st Place: $100 Melissa Guerra Gift Card
  • 2nd Place: $50 Melissa Guerra Gift Card
  • 3rd Place: $25 Melissa Guerra Gift Card

 

In addition, contestants will have the opportunity to sell their altar to Melissa Guerra customers. All altars can be listed for sale for a maximum of $25 and all proceeds will be donated to Roy Maas' Youth Alternatives.* To read more about this great organization please click here.
