Summer has come to stay, and as always, it comes along with its pal, the scorching heat. With this season’s visit, staying hydrated is a must. Melissa Guerra’s recipes offer various drink options letting you enjoy your beverage while drinking in style!
Watermelon Agua Fresca With Lemon Mint
Watermelon, the ideal summer fruit. This recipe is quick and easy, consisting of only watermelon, water, sugar, fresh mint, and a lemon. Served chilled over ice gives it the finishing touches, and tastes absolutely delicious. Check out the full recipe here!
Strawberry Mint Margarita On The Rocks
This refreshing drink includes juicy strawberries, cool mint leaves, and Mexican lime juice. Once the Madhava Agave Syrup and aged tequila are mixed together, the fusion becomes irresistible! This cocktail is great for outdoor festivities as well as a classy evening with some friends. View the full recipe here!
This recipe is short and sweet, literally! It calls for some peaches, 1 liter of Brandy, and some sugar. I feel as if this drink is definitely an elegant one, serving as a fruity supplement to any meal. Stored in an old wine bottle or even an embellished glass makes its presentation even classier. Check it out here!
Frozen Hibiscus Margarita
The Frozen Hibiscus Margarita is a personal summer favorite of mine! This slushy like concoction consists of a drink mix, tequila, the famous Madhava Agave syrup, some kosher salt, and lots of ice. Salting the rim gives it the extra kick! Every time the girls come over for dinner, they are always asking for the secret recipe, and what do I tell them? Two words: Melissa Guerra! Try it yourself by following the recipe located here.
And I thought grapefruits were only used for breakfast; boy was I wrong! Little did I know, the grapefruit can be used in various drinks, including the Grapefruit Mojito. The hint of fresh mint leaves combined with some sugar, grapefruit, club soda, and some rum leaves your mouth wanting even more! You don't want to miss out on this deliciousness!
